Open Houses in Ontario
Open houses are the easiest way to see homes in person — no appointment needed. Most Ontario open houses run on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Here is how to find them and make the most of them.
Find Open Houses This Weekend
Use the property search and open Filters to show only homes with an open house scheduled. You can also search open-house listings directly.

How Open Houses Work in Ontario
- When: Most open houses are Saturday and Sunday, usually 2:00–4:00 p.m.
- What to bring: Just yourself. No appointment and no obligation.
- What to look for: Layout, natural light, storage, the condition of the roof, windows, and basement, and the feel of the street.
- What to ask: How long the home has been listed, whether there are other offers, and what is included.
Tips for Buyers
- Visit several open houses in one trip to compare neighbourhoods.
- Take notes and photos (ask first) so homes do not blur together.
- Run the numbers before you fall in love: use the Affordability Calculator and the Closing Costs Calculator.
- If you like a home, tell Sim right away — popular open houses can lead to quick offers.
